RESTYLANE®

Restylane® is a clear gel made of hyaluronic acid - a naturally occurring substance in your skin that helps to add volume and hydration. It is proven to give long-lasting correction of moderate-to-severe facial wrinkles and folds. This synthetic acid carries no risk of allergic reaction, so no allergy testing is required before treatment.

The most common areas for treatment are the lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines) and the lines on the side of the nose to the covers of your mouth (nasolabial folds). With its unique ability to bind with water, Restylane remains in your skin for six to nine months, or even longer.
A simple, 30 minute procedure, the most commonly reported side events are temporary redness and swelling at the injection site that typically resolves within a day or two.

How soon can I get back to work?
There is minimal recovery time, you can return to work or normal activities immediately. As with all injections, there is always the possibility of getting a small bruise at or near the injection site. Not taking blood-thinning medications such as Aspirin, Advil, Aleve will help reduce your risk.
